Swinging Peace Music
„Painting for peace“ and „Writing for peace“ were joined in 2014 by the third peace culture pillar „Music for peace“. Helene Walterskirchen’s concern was to create a new peace music style which was supposed to be fresh, colourful and swinging, but also contemplative and sophisticated.
Therefore the music group ADMA MUSIC FRIENDS formed in 2014. These are the writers Helene and Alexandra Walterskirchen and the musicians and composers Martin Schlögl (bandleader), Wieland Götze, Arno Leixner (left in 2015) and Christopher Langton (joined in 2015).
Together they wrote the lyrics for the songs, composed and arranged them. This way the albums SWINGING PEACE, SWINGING UNIVERSE and a couple of singles and instrumental yoga music originated between 2014 and 2016.
To organise CHARITY CONCERTS is an important part of the peace work of the ADMA MUSIC FRIENDS. The proceeds benefit the peace culture centre Rudolfshausen castle and its non-profit peace projects as well as the war refugee and social work in the region of Landsberg am Lech.
On 8 August 2016, the ADMA MUSIC FRIENDS presented a musical performance of their song “Kinder der Erde – Children of the Earth” together with children of the Franz-von-Assisi school Augsburg on the occasion of the children’s peace festival in the botanical garden of Augsburg.
